We are opening with Pitt next season. Great! Not a far drive from Youngstown, and tickets should be easy to get.

love getting tickets for pitt for $10 on stub hub

Igot  our tickets(my twin sister and I) for the YSU-WVU game off of stub hub. I think both our tickets they were pretty cheap. I already told her that I would get Pitt tickets for that game. As I do live in Butler,PA, so it isn't too far of a drive from my house.

I remember coach Longo. His wife was actually the women's  head basketball coach at Slippery Rock for awhile(my youngest sister was one of the team's manager for a season).

I think it will help somewhat. Not only with recruiting HS, but maybe getting some transfers as well. Also hope it helps recruiting fans to come and watch the games.

Yes yes turnovers did us in today.

Overall what a great season for our Guins. They took us on amazing journey. I was at the first game in WVU, and my thought was: We would make the playoffs, but we would either lose the first round game, or win one game and be done. Well they made a fool out of me. They just kept winning. We beat two really really good teams on the road(dominated Jacksonville St).

I wish I could go, but mommy duties, and expenses do not allow me(we are going to DisneyWorld in March). I will see if hubby will agree to a game day party here at our house.

I was at the NC game in 1999. My boyfriend(now husband) went with me. The week before the NC game in 1999 I used him as a punching bag during our comeback against Florida A&M.

This season started for me at the YSU-WVU game. As we were leaving the WVU fans said we had a very good football team, and we were going be good. Well I guess they knew something we didn't. So proud of these kids. They have taken us for one great ride.

Now I am going to go down memory lane. The last time we played in national championship game was 1999. I was dating by now husband for 5 mths(we were married in 2007 on the same day as the YSU-Lock Haven game). I will not be making the trip to Frisco, but I will be cheering my Penguins on from my home in Butler,PA, or the Guin's Family homestead

Wick-I remember the Alcorn State game in 1994. I was in the stands. I was not in the stands the EKU game I believe my twin was, but I remember a last second drive. Good teams find ways to win. Just glad we are still playing on.

My twin and I were at the WVU game yesterday. Let me say we parked at the Coliseum and walked to the stadium of course we were in the tailgate lot. I found the WVU fans very welcoming. We talked to alot of their fans(and even sat with me). Their fans offered us food and beverage. Really great people. They do love their football team. Highlight of the day was: getting our picture taken with the Mountaineer. FYI I was the one who was carrying a stuff Pete the Penguin

As for the game. I thought we played well the 1,2, and 4th quarter. We really need to play a 4 qtr game.

Still remember that game, and going to the airport to greet the Penguins. Man the airport was packed that night. Also when they did the championship parade the song the channel 21 used for the hightlight film was: Simply the Best by Tina Turner
