We have a contingent heading out to Villanova. Been going to the YSU web page but no info on anything about the trip, tickets, team hotel, tailgating, etc…. Anyone hear anything!?!?

I figured today would be a small crowd and small tailgate.  With that said, there is waaaay less people in the M70 lot than I though there would be. lol.  GO GUINS!!!  And keep Pete on the helmet!!!

Nobody is interested in watching a team that doesn’t belong in the playoffs play a glorified Division III team.

If we go 3-1 we are in I would think.

Are you serious?  We are a half notch above putrid. If WIU wasn’t worse coached than us, we lose to
a team that couldn’t beat off. Even then, it took another screw up by our special teams in the form of a botched snap and placement, only to be saved by an inept WIU unit that allowed us to get a two point conversion. Playoffs?  This team wouldn’t be the favorites in Div IV, Region 13 of the OHSAA playoffs. Something has to give. Massive changes are needed on the coaching staff. Massive. Huge. Giantlike.

Pelini did irreparable harm to the program. Set it back years. A miserable, failed experiment involving a miserable man who was an embarrassment to the program, the university and the City of Youngstown.  Whomever thought that it was a good idea to bring him aboard (and keep him) should be ashamed. What an unmitigated disaster.

I find penguinpower and his posts to be extremely well researched and informative.  I also think that they provide valuable information as it relates to YSU sports.  In the United States of America, on Memorial Day weekend no less, it is bothersome to me that some are calling for him to be censored or silenced because they do not like or agree with his views.  Surely, these folks are not as compassionate and accepting of others as they may purport to be.  However, they do have the choice to simply ignore what they do not agree with. That is what makes the United States of America great.

The President gave a special speech last night to address the issue and is preparing an epic economic and public health response.

The Governor of every state is locking down all major public gatherings.

All major festivals, events and meetings have been cancelled.

Entire professional sports franchises has ceased operations.

But the YSU Forum regulars are not fooled!

They know it's all just a hoax and a conspiracy by the left and the fake liberal media.

The ignorance is astounding.

Please stick to sports.

People fail and succeed if given a chance.  Walt Disney filed bankruptcy early in life.  The HC for the Seattle Seahawks was horrible in his first HC job.  Saban was a failure at Miami.  Bill B of the Pats wasn’t he fired too.  So you bs about Montgomery is just your opinion.  He is a respected coach at a top notch FCS school.  But u think. HC coach that recruits eighth graders is a better hire.  Again We will be a homecoming patsy for all our conference members.  If this guy was so great why wouldn’t other schools try to hire him.

Comparing those guys to Monty, wow lol. How many others got 2nd chances and they just aren't HC material?

Well respected??? Still hanging onto the coat tails of Big Ben makes him well respected? So respected that he went and coached at Charlotte? His offense doesn't win championships and it's been proven over and over again.

I'm not saying Tyrrell is a slam dunk hire and will work out but I am a YSU fan and I'm damn sure not going to slam the hire and the guy before he is even announced as head coach. You are a part of the problem in this piss poor community.

I love Chief.  I just love him.
