Dwaine Osborne: head coach at D2 Charleston (WV)

Mark Richmond: head coach at D2 Notre Dame College (OH). Was on staff at YSU first two years of Calhoun era

Anthony Johnson: assistant/ player development at Ole Miss

Evan Faulkner: associate head coach Univ of Pikeville (KY). Also Ethan’s brother. 

Rocco Nofli: retained/moved to new position.

YSU just received a commitment from a player from Lane Tech - Shaheed Solebo out of Chicago.

SG listed at 6'4" 170, 3 star prospect.

UNLV DB Isaiah Hackett, who played at Warren G. Harding and Youngstown East in high school, is transferring home to YSU.

I'm glad it appears to be a seamless transition and Coach Faulkner will carry on with Coach Calhoun had established.  It's good to hear that apparently everyone else is staying...wish we could have retained Lovelace.

I did think the press conference though was pretty lackluster...just 10 mins including questions.  Can't believe there weren't more questions from the media.  And nothing from Strollo.

Apparently, they emphasized several times during the press conference that they want one to one meeting after the comments by the coach.
I could tell the coach is not as a dynamic speaker as Calhoun.  I guess that is a difference in their personality. It really doesn’t matter as long as he gets the job done.
BTW, who was the guy introducing Faulkner, he never introduced himself. I was surprised that AD didn’t personally introduced him.

The only way to stop them is to make it so that all new people that join have to be manually approved. Trying to avoid it, but maybe we’ll just have to do it. It’s just that a lot of people read some thing for the first time and want to respond right away and that won’t happen.

Still would be a lot better than the current state of spam.

  Per public records request, Jerrod Calhoun gets a 5 year contract worth a base salary of $625,000 plus an additional $300,000 in media rights compensation at Utah State.
He’ll also get annual increase of $25,000, every April 1.
He can also earn $350,000 in bonuses

I just have one question about Faulkner. Was he actively engaged along with Calhoun in recruiting from the transfer portal over the last two seasons?  If he was, we might be okay. But if Faulkner just recruited freshmen and had little hands-on experience with the portal, then the program is in serious trouble.

Gabe Dynes' dad was actively pulling for Faulkner to get the promotion. Faulkner also had a lot to do with Langdon transferring in this season as well.

Did the women get a transfer from Cleveland State?

Yes. Two transfers IN for the women so far. Dacia Lewandowski from Akron and Faith Burch from Cleveland St.

My concern is the assistants on staff.  Will they follow Calhoun or stay?  Any info on this

I know of one for sure that is going with Calhoun.. that’s Paul Molinari. He was with Calhoun at Fairmont, brought him over to YSU, and now also heading to Utah St.

With Calhoun gone maybe just the wooden bleachers are being replaced as WKBN reported. Its possible the money line is being pulled!!!!!!!

No money is being pulled. WKBN is the worst at reporting in the area.
