administrators, as a minority who does not believe radical right wingers. Please take Penguin Power of the air. He  or she is a negative a$$et to a sports site.
Certainly seems like the “solution” being implemented by big tech is to silence certain types of opinions that goes against a certain narrative. The beautiful thing of our country is our freedom of speech. There is plenty of nonsense on both sides of the aisle spewed on social media every hour. We don’t need a thought police from big tech or admins on this website to silence certain types of opinions. We need educated Americans who can see through the crap and research information to make informed opinions. Cmon man.

Why is UIC a higher seed than we are ?
We were locked into 5 seed Thursday night. We each split with WSU, but they beat NKU and we did not.

Going to be a one-and-done in the tournament the way the team is playing now down the stretch. We can't shoot very well at all. Need to recruit some shooters

I’ll take the W. Nice to hold them under 70 after giving up over 100 two nights ago. We get these guys again Tuesday. They beat us here in OT so it will likely be another battle.

Win IUPUI upsetting, if you want to call it that, Oakland, YSU appears to have guaranteed themselves a home game.

Outstanding win for this program! WSU made a bit of a run and then we just put the pedal to the metal the rest of the way. Congrats Coach Calhoun and team! Now let's go beat NKU Saturday!

Worth sharing this posting from Cleveland.com when he was hired at Hoban:

“Tyrrell returns to Northeast Ohio after spending five season as head coach at Chaminade-Madonna College Prep in Hollywood, Fla. Tyrrell ama$$ed a 39-18 record at Chaminade-Madonna, including a 13-1 record and trip to the state semifinals in his second season.

He was named South Florida coach of the year by the Miami Herald and South Florida Sun Sentinel in 2009 and district coach of the year in 2009, 2011, and 2012.

Tyrrell was the head coach at Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas for seven seasons. He also served as tight ends/tackles coach at Youngstown State from 1991-2001.

Tyrrell graduated from Youngstown Ursuline and Youngstown State, where he was a member of the 1993, 1994, and 1997 Division I-AA National Championship teams.“

YSU in talks with Vince Marrow. Looking like a deal will get done but not yet.
I am sorry, I just have a very hard time believing this. FootballScoop agrees:

"Vince is extremely well compensated at Kentucky. I know all the ties, etc... but would be stunning to see him leave UK for Youngstown.

@MichaelWBratton

Kentucky's ace recruiter Vince Marrow is "in talks with Youngstown State" regarding the head coaching position at the school following Bo Pelini's departure according to @KySportsRadio. Jones notes that no decision by Marrow has been made at this time."

YSU Penguin Athletics / Re: OSU grad QB to transfer
« on: May 15, 2018, 09:47:59 PM »
Big recruit at the time for OSU, but obviously can't play at that level.  VanGorder was the same at ND.

Will find out in the next 2 years if he can play at that level.  Can't compare him to VanGorder, because VanGorder never took a snap at ND.  Burrow was JT's primary backup in 16, and completed 22 of 28 pa$$es at mop up time in 6 games.  Last season he was 7 of 11 in 4 games, after Haskins moved ahead of him when he broke his hand.
I'm sorry, but I don't see any difference in Burrow's 26 "mop up" pa$$es and VanGorder's dozens of snaps (not -0- as you note) at ND.  Neither mean a damn thing.  They are equal in a$$essing the player, as they contribute nothing.
We'll see with Monty at YSU and maybe Burrow at LSU?

YSU Penguin Athletics / Re: YSU vs Milwaukee
« on: January 25, 2018, 10:51:25 PM »
Another game where YSU has its chances but went ice cold again down the stretch.  We kept battling back from 8 point deficits, but could never take control.  Missed a lot of good looks and layups.  Thought we had a chance at the end of the first half and had some turnovers and a missed a layup.  Just not going to win when Cam is off.  Shot only 32% and amazingly took 18 more shots & made 5 less.  Milwaukee was pathetic from the foul line.  Where was Tyree?  Looked like he wasn't even on the bench.
Funeral in Boston for deceased Uncle.

Need to get someone in here quick and he and Bo need to bring a QB with them.

Go to the Football coaches page.
Carl has been taken off
Shane has not
Until someone can post something other than hearsay I don’t believe he has gone anywhere
Our sources are better than CNN's ;)

I have been trying to understand and make sense of this thread the entire week. Know where on social media can I find that he is know longer the offensive coordinator or has stepped down. Love him or hate him Bo has spoke very highly of shane over the years and said he was a major a$$et to the program. He has retained his position year in and year out when many thought Bo would part ways with him..So is he staying or going?
Gone. I wish him the best in his new gig. He was always very nice when I had chances to talk with him. He did do a lot of good things for our program on the offensive side of the ball.

I hate the “weenie” games as much as everyone else, but with our conference schedule being so strong, we don’t need to schedule a tough OOC for us to get to playoffs. We get seven wins we are going to be in. Now I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to playing stronger OOC FCS opponents in September, perhaps we will in a couple years if we can’t get an FBS game on the schedule.

Of the three top coaches in our program (HC, OC & DC) the worst one is staying on. I do ntot mean this as a Bo slam. Let's be serious, we have (had) the best coordinators at our level. I may not have liked some of Carl's play-calling, but that does not mean that he isn't quite successful at what he does with less-than-exceptional talent. I have always been a fan of Shane.

To have both sides of the ball leave is usually pretty damning to a club.

Once again. Have not seen anything on him leaving except speculation on this board.
Sorry not buying it
You should buy it. Curious who his replacement will be.
