Non YSU Sports / Could YSU be playing Home games elsewhere the rest of the year?

you gotta wonder if this gets out of hand if the YPD/YSU will ask the NCAA to play elsewhere say Kent or Akron? or maybe even back at Austintown, although i think they only sit 13K with standing room (i know the Fitch/Massillon game was 12.5K). keep in mind this wasn't a Warren Harding AD choice, this was the Warren Police departments choice from my understanding.

Just saw he signed with the Browns today
man what a great CFB player but you only needed to see him throw 1 pass to know he was a WR or RB in the NFL, amazing that he still went over 9K for passing yards

Martin Ruiz has a great shot at 1,000 yards and 15 Rush TDs, both have to be Freshman records or close to the top?

according to NCAA if you account for ties

YSU has the 12th least amount of Sacks allowed in FCS
YSU the the 10 least amount of yards for loss allowed in FCS
YSU leads the nation in rushing TDs in FCS
the 42 PPG is good for 4th in the nation
YSU is 6th in  Rushing YPC at 5.80

best OL we have seen in while IMO too bad we are replacing 3 SRs next year

saw Massillon Washington vs Glenoak on FSO today from last night, they have this freshman who they mentioned on the broadcast was already invited to camp and visit Ohio State this year and he might be the top freshman in the country

i hate how early they are starting to rank/evaluate kids.

to be fair at least passing he looked the part, Kids got maybe the strongest arm ive ever seen on a HS freshman and that includes guys like Roethilisberger, Sam Bradford and Rob Shoenoft (sp) the last guy was classic case of millon dollar arm 10C head at St. X, good kid just bad at reading coverages.  Clark last night hit 55 yards in the air on a hail mary on the last play before half.  Brett Farve did a QB contest about 10 years ago at the pro-bowl and only hit 72 yards or something like that, just to show how impressive that is for a freshman.

I feel almost as confident we pull off the upset as i did vs Pitt, We like the pitt game, Matchup very well with MSU. They have a QB who sucks and the rest dont have experiance being that our secondary has been our weaklink this is great for us.  We also kept up with them until the 4th the last time we played them, i think we should win by a TD or so

With Hess being a SR i think its time to talk about his replacement, it sounds like all the QBs on the roster aren't very good/ready so thats not a good sign, HOWEVER the True Frosh who will hopefully RS Ricky Davis looks like a steal, i mean whats not to like about 6'3 200 and a 4.7 first of all for a QB at this level? second he was a starter for only 1 year, was rated as a high 2* recruit and 3* on some websites and already got offers from the Ohio MAC schools, and was starting to get some B1G offers,  thats pretty impressive.

This Recruiting class brings in Hunter Wells from Stark County who's 6'5 190 but very much in the pocket passer mold, he only needs 1750 yards to be stark countys all time passing yards leader.  i think its too bad Jeff Clegg left the team, would sure have been fun to see a true dual threat with this OL and RB group.
