My wife also had Diverticulitis during the Covid era.  She was admitted to the ER with stomach pains only to be treated a urinary tract infection and then sent home to make room for Covid patients.  Two week later she was rushed again to the ER, diagnosed with Diverticulitis, spent 2 weeks in the hospital and lost 38 pounds.  No surgery was needed but it a scary moment for the both of us.

The two (2) players are VERY GOOD players and will be an asset to the program.

Had a chance to watch the entire game. Very sloppy first half with a torrential downpour.  Game was delayed 90 minutes in the 2nd Qtr due to lightning followed by a 3-minute halftime.  Second half was very entertaining and exciting.  Don't know the players name, but SDSU had a stud running back (#22) who had a 85-yard TD run to put them in the lead in the 4th.  Nice comback/5-minute drive by Sam Houston to go up front in the 4th with 16 seconds left.  Reminded me of some other good ole times!

Amen Go!  He's got my support as well.  Looking forward to the new era and away with the "Bo Experiment".  Total fiasco!

I don't know which is more entertaining.  Reading these post or the Impeachment Sham.  Three (3) coaches have been shamed, the facts from a "good source" were false, claims of JT buying this coach while in Florida without facts and having your minds already made up that the newly hired coach is a bad choice before his hiring is announced AND before he is introduced to anyone.

It is what it is.  The program had regressed and everyone wants the 90's back again.  Not going to happen for some time.  Either support this guy and the program or stay home but stop the trashing the new coach.  He should be welcomed to the community and program by the fans and alumnus.  He has a difficult job as it is.  Totally surprised by these posts.  Been following YSU since the 80's.  Never have I seen anyone come down as hard on a coach as this one.  We all need to lighten up, support this guy and the University with this choice.

My rant is done!

Demeatric Crenshaw, a 6-2 dual threat QB from Pickerington Central.

Watched this kid play against Mentor in the 2017 Div I State Championship and the 2019 Div I State Quarter Finals.  This kid is the real deal.  Great Athlete, good size and speed...big plus for the program.

Watched Luke play last year in Mentor's State Championship run.  Don't know much about the game but this kid really stood out among the others.  Very quick on his feet, great anticipation and outstanding 3-point range shooting.  Nice pick-up for the Penguins!

Haven't been on this site for quite some time.  Really enjoy all of the comments.  I too used to be a Penguin Club member in the late 90's only to withdraw in the Heacock era due to the drive from Mentor, OH and the regress of the program.  Was not worth the investment or time.

Decided to attend my first game vs. Northern Iowa this in respect of the Seniors.  A couple of observations reinforced all of your comments over the season.  Keep in mind, due to the low attendance, that I sat in Section 3, Row 10 behind the Defense Players bench:

I noticed players actually DANCING to the music during the game and having conversations that nothing to do about the game.  In other words, they were not fully engaged in the activities on the football field.

Granted it was Senior Day, but since when were the players permitted to talk to acquaintances DURING THE GAME. Again, mind was not engaged into the game.

Whatever happened to the "Beehive" as player exited and entered the field?  The players came onto the field in groups, by themselves right to the sidelines.  I overheard Bo yell, as he was putting on his headset, "Let's go..get the blood flowing".  Why aren't they warming up as a group.  Mentor High School football program has better cohesiveness that the Penguins.

Very disappointing....It appearead that NO ONE was into the game.  That is the coaches fault.  Very toxic environment, IMO, and that culture is going to take a long time to change.

My daughter attends Murray State University and I had the opportunity to watch Murray State vs. Jacksonville State.  Jacksonville State played a poor first half but really handled Murray in the second half.  From what I saw, Brother scouting report is right on.  They have a stellar defense against the run and tended to give up some big plays with the pass.  Their QB is an outstanding athlete who can throw, run and has some size and speed.  Should be an outstanding game.
