Excited for the energy that Coach Phillips is bringing to the program. It's time for us to all get behind him and show our support!

You're right about him having a lot of talent to work with, but it still was the only group that came to play week in and week out. It was going to be very difficult for any of his assistants to find good jobs this late into the offseason. I think many of his assistants will have trouble finding any jobs now because of how late it is and because many lacked any prior experience before coming here. Hopefully we have a better group of assistants this time around.Good for D’Alesio, the D-line was the only consistent position group on the team throughout Pelini’s tenure and especially this past season.Yes, that's true, but give me Rivers Moss, Smith, Reed, Cook et. al. and I'LL have a good DL! I'm with the unpaid job in LSU as the best for him.
Go,This hire has no impact on Tressel’s legacy at Youngstown State at all! His athletic legacy here has already been sealed with his 4 National Championships. And his mission right now is SO MUCH BIGGER than the football program. He has done amazing things as President of the University and his impact on both the University and the area will be felt many years to come.
Mallory lost his quarterback in the first or second game and that tanked his season as he had no capable replacement. It would be better to judge him on 2018. He is interesting to me because Indiana State might be one of the very worst jobs in FCS. If he came here, he would be able to secure better players and many more of them.
There is no "slam dunk" choice. Everybody is a gamble. Tressel's legacy (the athletic part) is on the line with this selection. And he knows it.
I personally have no idea what these players have done and it is very worrisome how some are describing it. I'd much prefer someone just say what they did than leaving the door open to a wide variety of things that these players might have done. I hope it's not too serious.C'mon guys, this is obviously an internal matter. No need to make it public for everyone to see. Until they make it public, let's not speculate and tarnish the images of these young men.How can it be "obviously an internal matter" when I read about it on a blog and I am going to know the names of the players when they take the field in EWU Saturday? What this is, is a "slow release public matter".
Ask Hillary Clinton how the slow release method keeps everything under wraps! Any attempt at coverup only makes it worse, and doesn't hid a thing.
