Good Post as usual Wick.  This brings a lot of perspective.  We are also playing away so we are at a disadvantage because the w**** that runs the conference screwed us again.

I strangely suspect that the MVFC officials didn't just randomly schedule us to go back to Fargo...... I really don't like the respect we get from the conference. Hopefully the CAA calls. But what can you do, these are the cards that we were dealt and if we go in there and play ball, then more power to us.

Moving up to FBS would be nice but I really see no advantage to joining the MAC except having a lot more local rivals. It is an obvious "next step" to IA since no other conferences in the region would be willing to have an FCS school join their ranks. However, theres an extra scholarship burden and no real prize for a good season. MAC schools that go 9-2 or 10-2 and win their championship.....Congratulations, you get to play in Detroit a few days before Christmas in a Bowl game most people outside of Ohio and Michigan have never heard of. Being FCS you have the advantage of still being able to compete for a national title which many recruits without BCS conference offers find attractive.

YSU better heat the busses up, people over on bisonville are predicting two touchdown victories since they have a better team this year and obviously YSU has stayed the same.

Should be a #1 v. #2. Montana State's best game was against a 1-3 Stephen F. Austin team that went down to the wire, but I understand that their recent and continued success keeps them up there. I won't comment on the outcome of this one until I can watch how NDSU fairs against UNI. Should be their first real test of the season.
