You didn't like the spin move or splitting the double team move with that crossover? I said in some ways not the second coming...hey I'm not a JS fan but from what I've seen of the 2 of them...give me this kid a million times over Latin Davis

Commitment from Jeremiah Ferguson 6'2 pg...check out his video..
In some ways reminds me of Kyrie..we need 2 bigs now...missed out on the JC kid that went to Cleveland St

2 winning seasons (barely) in 11 years surely isn't dumping a coach after a losing season ...find me a school that has had 9 losing seasons in 11 years with the same head coach...add to that fact that players leave the program each and every season ...I think some of you people are just numb to all the losing  seasons...yup its hard to recruit here but but that is getting old...old as all the losing seasons ...get a young go getter in here and see if at least 1 entire recruiting class will stay for 4 years

The bottom line is that our coach hasn't been able to fix our problems and has had over a decade to do so...we have to be the only program in the country that would not only accept that but compound it by extending his contract :-\

Underestimate the talent he has recruited ?! Then how do you explain his record if his talent is that good?!

Just curious...why do you feel that JS is the guy for this job?

All I know is ..the guy doesn't win and too many players leave to build anything sustainable... How can we not do better? Conference aspect? The heck does that mean?

You can get a young go-getter for whatever we are paying JS...which should be less than 400 k

My point exactly...basketball can be a money maker...football relies on one $$$$$$ game a season to operate and beyond that can't make much

Spell check stinks...of course I meant the NCAA's and FCS not TCS

Why would we try to make the NBA tornament?! You can't be serious ?! One game in the tourney would net us more $$ than any TCS championship ...and I agree...you don't need to triple our MLB coach's salary to do it..it's just finding the right coach to recruit and keep players for 4 years so they can imprive

Complain after 24-2? How the heck would we know...We've never been in that situation...I just want us to be relevant in basketball...watching Middle Tennessee beat Michigan State made me think it's possible for us...am I nuts? Only 5 guys are on the floor at once...you can get good really quick if you can recruit one guy that's a stud or get lucky and find a gem...Add one decent inside player and a lightning quick pg and you can get a tourney bid in our conference ...just keep those players here for four years...The kid from Garfield Hts will replace Andrews...A banger inside and we can compete in this league in a year...it happens elsewhere

I respectfully disagree because that younger coach played div 1 basketball and knows the fundamentals needed ...As far as recruiting goes why do you think Slocum would be better than anyone we could hire...11 years worth of recruiting produced 1 winning season

I don't have an axe to grind on Slocum...All I know is one winning season in eleven years does not cut it...i guarantee you can pay a younger go-getter Slocum money and have fans a little excited for a new season...it is not the case now
