The wood chipper scene comes to mind.

See if Hess can tackle or cover somebody.

Don't know why these kids want to be just another mid-major.

When will those injured guys on D be back?

Yeah, I think this is the YSU equivalent of the Ohio State-Eastern Michigan game. A chance to prepare for future games while technically playing someone at the same level.

That sort of thing really does make a difference with recruiting and such. Little things like that are the difference between "great facilities" and "falling apart".

I think they may have been somewhat devastated for this game. Remember, Michigan got destroyed by an unranked Oregon team the week after Appy State before getting it to together.

I agree about Albany. That's why I think we should start preparing for UNI this week -- focus next week on the Danes.

Some clear breakdowns in coverage too. We got lucky on a few missed passes and that one to the TE early where he fell after the catch (although they scored that drive anyway so it would not have affected the score). No question there were issues, but it was the first game. I'm also wondering about Bellamy. Some tough games coming up in a few weeks. Can't wait! Exciting times!

Our O-line will do what it wants with Valpo. Good to get the secondary a little work, but our offense should easily put up 50 in this one. A good week to start prepping for UNI.

That looked like Youngstown football last night. A great O-line makes everyone look good.

Should have tried to tackle him right at the goal line to set up an easy 7 (at least 3) instead of 2.

I wanted to see a lot more of Bellamy this season. My "I haven't seen the team all spring and summer" qualified depth chart would have him starting.
