bobby didnt even make second team? Really? As our only big he was pounded on and beat up each and every night. I know our season stunk but it seems the league voters are blaming Bobby. The kid deserved better than this.

You are picking on Bo's resume at Nebraska before he coaches a game here and you call it just stating the facts...well, the fact is ..Bo is the most qualified coach we have ever hired at this school because he did have a track record as a head coach. And I believe it was a pretty good one. I loved Coach Tressel and obviously his track recortd after becoming a head coach speaks for itself...and I would be willing to bet that the majority of people wanted Coach JH because he came with Coach Tressel's recommendation. Let Bo's record here speak for itself...but let him at least get his tenure started

Whats your point? If he beat those cupcakes then should he be able to beat the cupcakes on our schedule? I think so! You havent even given the man a chance before youve condemned him. This is the first time hes been let go from a job, just give him the chance to learn from the reasons he was fired. The problem around here is that no one that came after Coach JT was coach JT.

This whole thing cracks me up because you can never really judge an entire recruiting class until the 5 year eligibility is exhausted. All I know is I trust what I see and we need to fix only one side of the ball the upcoming season and our head coach has proven that his expertise lies on that side of the ball. Barring major injuries I am optimistic about our chances

all I know is that offense under Wolf was never our problem...and most of our returning talent is on that side of the ball along with our coordinator. Bo will coach up our defense instead of the revolving door of coordinators we've had the past 5 years. barring major injuries, I see no reason why we cannot make the playoffs. We dont have to depend on incoming talent this year except for Moss, hence no JC kids that I see. I believe the most critical incoming talent must be in the kicking game...I hope we dont miss Cejudo as much as I think we might. Consider this also...Bo might take a kid that he knows might never make the 2 deep depth chart just to make inroads at a particular school. St Ignatius for example...he can afford to do that because our returning talent is pretty darn good

London Fletcher wasnt tall enough or heavy enough either....james Laurenitas wasnt heavy enough coming out of high school...Sam Mills was too short to play middle linebacker...why is everyone over reacting to size...it doesnt take a genius or hours of film study to figure out if a kid is tough enough to play ball...I hate the Steelers but how the heck did Palomalu last as long as he did in the draft? How about Chris Spielman? Ill tell you how...cuz guys like Paladin though they were too small and too slow to play...lets judge these kids after they get get here not before

All I know is, if a kid was recruited by Bo, whether he went to Nebraska or not, and is buried on a depth chart somewhere, why wouldnt he want to come here? Other than stadium size I would be willing to bet our facilities (behind the scenes stuff..locker rooms...film room..Watts Center..) are as good or better than any FCS school in the country...add that to the fact that if Bo really wanted a kid how impactful would it be when he and Tressel paid a home visit? Dont forget that all kids that are recruited to bigger schools want to play and if they arent then why wouldnt they find a place that they will? I think some folks are selling Bo's ability to recruit a little short...Wolford wasnt a recognizable figure at all..Pelini? I think you know that answer. There is no reason why we cant play and beat Akron or Kent...in fact thats why they stopped playing us in the first place

I love Paladins analysis on Ragland and Wollett...too small...too light...not tall enough...cant play at our level...yeah, right now they cant but in 2 yearsthey will no longer be boys...theyll be men with 2 years of maturation...all i know is both come from solid, winning programs and in Wolletts case the bloodlines are there...I would take both in a heartbeat...the results will bear out 2 years from now and if both are on the 2 deep depth chart then they will have been worth it

I think Rick Shepas would be a logical interview first off but if a coach at a school that doesnt offer scholarships has a successful record why wouldnt we be interested? If a coach can get athletes by only offering financial aid , wouldnt you think he can recruit at our level? I think thats where we need to look. However, I dont agree with the notion that we need to stay away from anyone with YSU or Youngstown ties. We need the right hire, no matter where we find him. It should prove interesting

Mark Snyder? I realize his record was bad at Miami but ..Don Treadwell?

Did some research...Jordan Andrews from Louisiana...type his name and watch the video...great form on his jump shot and its a true jump shot...whether its coming off a screen or off the dribble...very impressive! Will fill out too....long way from home so lets hope he sticks to his commitment and signs in October...looks better than Ryan Webber on film

I just dont think that they will be able to stop our running attack....pound pound pound with 4 different fresh backs and nania....time of possession will be really in our favor and when you can run it at them it takes the fight out of anyone. We did it to Illinois for the better part of the game. Thats why that moronic call on the fake punt/run was so costly...we shouldve just run it right at them or passed off of a play fake...that call basically turned the whole game around...I know folks wont want to hear it and I used to gripe about his conservative nature but we win the Illinois game with Tressel...no doubt in my mind

nothing against Nania, he did make some plays with his legs but none with his arm. We need a college passer not a high school runner. Maybe he can grow into one but if we miss the playoffs Id rather do it with either Wells or Clark. Illinois was horrible and after hearing some comments in the mens room at half, their fans know it. Poor attendance reflected that too. We lose games we should win in the same fashion since Wolf has been here....cant cover a soul when it really matters. We shouldve won that game walking away because we pushed them around until the heat got us. NDSU wouldve beaten them by 5 tds. And that is our measuring stick whether we like it or not
