get out of here, this is ohio and we are in the playoffs...and in ohio high school football is king.  I love Youngstown State basketball as much as the next guy, but to say that deserves front page attention over hs football regional semifinals is bush league.

IP, thanks for correcting me.  Yea...I read it as I was reading YSU's schedule, lol.  I'm excited about the prospects hearing you'll talk about Amiker.  I had a feeling he could be the wildcard coming into the season.

not sure if it's been mentioned, but 18 teams have released non-conference schedules, and we are on South Florida's for Dec. 18th.

Pizza, you're an idiot.  Tell that to Bradly Fletcher and all the other D-1 products Liberty has put out in football and basketball the past 25 years.  I remember about 10 or so years ago Mooney couldn't even win a game.  Your attitude is what's wrong with H/S Sports...come here and win Championships...take a kid to a Girard game and then take them to a Mooney game at YSU...it's like comparing a "usual" YSU Basketball game to a Duke game.  I think most kids would rather play infront of almost a whole town than a bunch of empty seats and cement steps, once again, you're an idiot.

UIC has played very solid their last couple outings, just has not resulted in wins.  They got some nice talent on their team, no denying that.

This game boils down to stopping one player.  In years past, if you slowed down Battle, Penn State was very beatable, but if Battle went off they had a good chance to win.  This year the key is stopping Frazier, who if he is on, will be the best player on the floor.  Stop Frazier and you got a chance to win.

and Ursuline playing in D-5 state playoffs is as big of a joke as a team such as Robert Morris getting into the playoffs.  Hopefully St. V's puts the final nail in their coffin so one of those farm school who play with home grown kids have a chance to win it.
