Thoughts? This could be a nice recruiting tool. Depends how they spin it, but you know YSU will be in it.

I don't think this story needs any spin, the facts are the facts. The best recruiting tool is wins, and an academically prestigious university. The egregious shots of run-down houses, and closed down steel-mills, with the occasional shots of homeless people will do wonders for recruiting :o. If you think any footage of Youngstown will be about the positive, your optimism is outstanding.

There are run down houses near every university, so that means nothing. YSU on ESPN at this point is a positive thing.

I wouldn't hold out much hope...I saw the promo it looks like it'll be nothing but negative.
For some reason my Comcast cable guide description for the show next week says Youngstown is in PA lol.

Say what you will about Youngstown, but the city has character. If they were both from Toledo or something, you wouldn't call the show "Toledo boys".

I was surprised on how well it was done and how they didn't spin it all negative. Hopefully Clarrett can really change his life for good. I don't follow Ohio State but it really made Andy Geiger look like a POS.

I spoke with someone "in the know" on what was happeneing down there and POS describes it well
