I care enough to want NDSU to win. I don't care enough to clear my calendar to watch. A sunny 50 day degree in January is for taking down outside Christmas lights and other outside tasks I didn't think I would be able to do until March. Will probably throw it on while I start taking down the Christmas tree.

It is 17-6 NDSU with a little over 2:00 left. I actually watched bits and pieces of the game. It is a gorgeous 50 degree day here at Penny's Pad: HubbyGuin is actually outside taking down the lights. You are all aware that the only loss NDSU had was to YSU. I hope we can soon make the trip to TX

I watched it while also following our women's win over Valpo on the internet. Great for our conference. Great for us as we moved the ball and scored against NDSU much better than anybody in the playoffs. This game indicated one thing: on the FBS level quality Big Ten defenses are no match whatsoever for southern speed; however, on the FCS level, solid physical defense can still shut down gimmick offenses (Georgia Southern and Sam Houston) that are built around speed and finesse but lack power in the trenches.

Congrats on your win YellowStreak. As long as we intend to back up the bragging with performance its a good thing (my understanding is that it will be a point of emphasis when the team returns from break), otherwise just another target on our back (although not as big as the one you'll have 8)).

NDSU looked eerily similar to the the YSU National Champions of the 1990's on both sides of the ball. WOW!

I geared my whole day (a woman has to do that)....so I could watch the game.
All through the game I repeatedly said....YSU BEAT this team. Call it what you
will. They made it to the finals but we did BEAT THEM. Who is better???
On any given day. That's a big question. Today, it gives me "bragging rights",
that's better than no rights at all.

I'm not going to brag! As I've been preaching since the INDY ST game "IF" the coaching staff was as tallented as the team on the field we would have been playing in Frisco. Great win for the Bison. They did the Valley proud. YSU , NDSU, WKU, and SIU the real Valley champs :) UNI Boooooo!!

Looks like the SHSU players wasn't to happy with the loss LOL!! Oh yea #56 was a bad azz!! Like all player who wore #56 :)

Wolford's comments about the game were offensive to me. Everybody's fault but the coaching staff?
If I lost to a 1-9 team to keep my team out of the playoffs I would be keeping my mouth shut. Not to mention the other 2 or 3 games we were not prepared for.
