So... this thread is regarding offseason recruiting efforts, transfers, coaching changes, any other relevant thing to discuss.
I got nothing to start with other than a comment. Wonder if the staff will look to try to get D'Juan Waller from Chaney as a recruit at Safety? I know he had some offers from much bigger schools but he hasn't committed to any yet, and while it is obviously unlikely he would want to come to YSU, it would be worth a shot?

Additionally, with already having Massillon's kicker, maybe we could get Ardell Banks? The wideout from Massillon.

Prior to this season, a quarterback who was a traditional passer had little reason to consider YSU. First Pelini and then Phillips seemed committed to "dual threat" quarterbacks. With the insertion of Davidson into the lineup, that has now changed. YSU now could be attractive to a strong passer as Phillips has proven he will use a balanced offense.
The biggest mystery for next season is the status of the running backs. Nobody will replace Jaleel, but can any of the five freshmen running backs on our roster demonstrate that they can play in this conference?

Would They want to try to flip the qb from West branch ? YSU > Eastern Illinois.

Should go after Judah Holtzclaw from Westerville. Went to a JUCO in Texas. 3 years eligibility. Verbal commit to YSU last year. Definitely someone we need to look into!!

Qb recruiting parameters should be based on prospects able to read and get the ball out quickly and be accurate. Those are my 2 requirements then worry about size and physical attributes. One thing I noticed on our competition they had QB!s that we’re not 6’5 and 220. Do I want that yes. But those other attributes are important. Crenshaw was an athlete but slow on getting ball out and accuracy issues. We tried to force feed him even though you could see the issues. Hopefully they have learned

Fcs playoffs finished 1st round of activity and St Francis of PA got stomped by Delaware. How does the committee feel about this and leaving us at home. Just food for thought.

I am sure they feel fine since they have chosen Delaware over YSU. SFU was an automatic bid.

The 2023 and 2024 schedules are again favorable for post season runs. If DP doesn't get this team in the playoffs within the next two years' it's probably time to move on.

Wkbn news just published that former Farrell tight end, Kyi Wright, who has played last 2 years for Pitt has entered the transfer portal.
I wonder if YSU can grab him

Interestingly, if you look at Kayden Davis recruiting profile on rivals, his picture shows him in a Toledo uniform. It also shows him committed to ysu with no offer from Toledo... so it's confusing.
