88-81 loss. Valiant effort by the boys. This team can be special!

Good game for our boys. ND made two consecutive 3 point shots late in the game to seal the win. YSU looked really quick. In comparison, ND looked relatively slower.

Notre Dame without a few players too. At least we didn't get blown out. We hung in there the entire game and actually was down by just 1 or 2 with 4 min to play. Notre Dame couldn't miss free throws

There are no moral victories, but this is about as close to one as YSU could get it.
YSU played good enough offensively to win the game, but too many breakdowns defensively. And every time YSU appeared to get a roll, ND would hit a big shot and didn't miss at the FT line. YSU had some good looks from 3 that they didn't knock down and there were a few 3's that were ill advised.
Nelson was unbelievable again and almost single handedly kept the game close in the first half. He's going to be fun to watch.
Interesting to note that McBride came to the coaches and said he'd rather come off the bench.

I just watched the highlights and saw some defensive break downs especially no help D on some un-contested lay ups. ND has some nice talent with three starters and their 6th man back from last seasons NCAA Tournament team.
Like mud said no moral victories but love that they fought to the end.
