I guess what 3 appearances in 20 years can do that do your fan base.

I see that SIU beat SDS and SDSU won big. Surprized that NIU lost. Incarnate Word also won. MSU lost. So two teams we beat won and one lost. Northern Iowa is a puzzle. They have good teams but don't do well in the playoffs. They tailed at the end of the season this year. Not sure of injuries etc so something is lacking. In the field of 16 we have 4 teams, but two play one another so at best in the field of 8 we will have three.
Our big issue is recruiting. I hear it is going well, but December 8 is the early signing day and will tell much about our staff and future. We don't need that much to get to 500 so that seems likely. Better is possible, but that is primarily the portal. We will see.

I have some mild interest, was happy UIW won and MSU and UNI lost. The SIU and SDU game didn't matter, one of them had to lose.
UNI was no surprise they are the biggest choke school ever in the play-offs.
