Title: Homecoming

I noticed on the schedule for this fall, Homecoming is the first Saturday in October.  Most recent Homecoming games have been the last Saturday in October, at least late Oct.  I can't see any obvious football reason for the move.  Anybody have any insight on this change?  Frankly this doesn't mean much/anything to me, but I'm just curious.

Weather has sucked so late in the year and attendance has been awful.  Positive move here.

True for this year!  It rained a cold nasty rain all day and I'm sure it hurt attendance
12723 for Homecoming this year,  2 weeks earlier 16408
HOWEVER in 2016 the attendance for Homecoming was 15082 vs 2 weeks earlier 13375
October is October.  Some Saturdays great, some not so much.  I don't seen attendance or weather being an influence.  Wonder of school calendar works better earlier?   Whatever.  Something to waste a few minutes on when nothing else is going on.
Men home tomorrow. Women on 4 game road trip, (that's going to be tough.  Hope Nickki can play!)

I remember a couple of years ago for homecomimg it was ice pellets. this is a great move.
