Just curious...Stefan Rosic signed with Utah State out of H.S. any idea why he never played here? Is he anything that Calhoun can count On? Also hoping that Duane Moss remains commited
-
Moss waiting to see and speak with Calhoun. Also he's having back surgery next month... Kinda scary.

This information comes courtesy of a former legendary poster. Calhoun has offered 6'9" SOPHOMORE Brison Waller from Garfield Heights. That was posted by his high school coach. Obviously does not help for next season, but this is how you recruit properly. Establish a relationship early and be relentless. If this kid turns out to be a mid-major talent, a good bet we would get him.

Sounds nice, but as a HS soph I could not even care. We have good talent now and we made a move. Some are going to give him time, but not I ...unless we lose too much in the way of players. He has a team of kids that wanted to be faster with possession ...so lets see something. I suspect that many of these guys do not want to be faster on D as well, but we will see who hits the track and who does not.

Cleve St..and Miami O offered as well..Akron ..Kent...and Ohio U will as well...Duquesne too
-
Moss has requested his release from his commitment.

Does anyone know if Calhoun will be at the Pregame dinner Friday?

You have to give every new coach at least 2 years if not 3. Even if they do great the first year, and you always hope that they do, a lot of people will just give credit to the previous coach.

Maybe he does not like to run, his loss, best of luck to him.

May be he has better offers after making the commitment to us. This gives him an opportunity to de-commit.

That may be, I wish him well

He did have some good offers...plus just go play for your Dads program at CCU...better to leave now than 1 or 2 years into it. This should give Calhoun 4 scholarships to work with..intetesting who he brings in
-
I agree with jbags. If this kid is not excited to play for Calhoun, he would never stay here for four years. Let him move on. Calhoun will use the scholarship to acquire a player that wants to be here.

I hope the kid has a full recovery, but with an injury like that, it might not be a bad thing that he's moving on.
