the coaches poll should be interesting

After YSU's performance this past weekend, the "Guins'" should be ranked in the Top 20!
Many of the teams ranked ahead of them, got "tooled" in their games against FBS schools. Many of whom aren't as good as Michigan State. We as an FCS school showed up and actually competed.
These sportswriters and AD's who vote on this stuff, need to "wake up and smell the coffee".

FCS ranks have always been bull.... as for the seedings...how many times in the glory days did the hand it to us...remember GSU being a 1 seed i think and we beat them here...but then we did buy the home game here!!! lol
-
I agree, but remember we were an independent in the "glory days" and did not have a great record against ranked schools in most of those years. Coach T knew how to "turn it up a notch" at Thanksgiving. I can see not being seeded. Also, they seeded all clubs back in the early 90's 1 through 16. It was a true bracket. I think it was 1998 when they began to only seed certain teams.

Give it 3 or 4 weeks of winning and you will start seeing YSU in the rankings. It's way to early in the season. Plus you have to remember that we were only 3-8 last year ant the coaches remember that.

These polls are a hoot!
So when we play Slippery Rock and win - no respect
So when we play Mich St and give a better game then some other 1-AA schools in their games - no respect
Just keep winning
