1AA, you are up to your eyeballs in BS. All you do is seize everything as a thread to praise heacock, strollo and slocum. Three guys who have done nothing for ysu. It is people like you that hurt ysu athletics. You must enjoy being a loser. You point your finger at people like me that tell the truth. While you go around telling lies and refuse to live in reality. Whats that make you?

Chief among the incompetent board members is Harry Meshel. He is a perfect example of a carpet bagger living off the public trough. Can't he and his mates do anything right?

Dunn was yet another bad hire by the incompetent board of trustees. I don't know about tressel for president but as athletic director would be awesome!

Good point pride. Let's not paint UIC as a good team. L ikewise, the media should not paint a rosey picture of the state of the
Ysu mens bball program. The vindicator ran an article not too long ago about the recent upgrades made to enhance the bball program including things like a new score board, new weight room and video room. The vindicator likes to call this progress. They also point to back to back winning seasons and a trip to the cit as progress.

While these are improvements they should not be painted as real progress. Ysu is far behind most programs in the HL and all of D1 bball. The truth is is that this program is going nowhere unless some big changes are made.

First, the board of trustees and president need to get their heads out of their butts and increase funding for the bball program to make it more in line with the rest of the HL teams budgets. Second and third fire Strollo and Slocum.

Until this happens ysu bball does not have a shot.

Team still has a pulse. Not much more than that right now. Future looks bleak for this program.

if ysu loses this game tonight then you can say for sure that slocum has lost control of this team and they have quit.

sounds like slocum has lost control of this team. could explain the 4 game losing streak-the last loss being a total embarrassment. maybe the team has thrown in the towel.

If YSU was run like a first class organization both Strollo and Slocum would have been fired a long time ago. And Wolford would be out also.  This nonsense would not be tolerated.

why are slocum's press conferences so short after a loss? but when they win he goes on and on and on.

why doesn't the media ask more questions after a loss? hold slocum's feet to the fire? are they afraid?

In an interview with Rob Schmidt during media day before the start of this season, slocum says his team has frontline depth. he says he has three good 5"s and three good 4's. he says he feels very good about the 4's and 5's. he says he is excited about the depth at that positions.

Does anyone know what kind of drugs Slocum is on? The 4's and 5's are the weakest positions on the team. Is this guy living on planet earth?

go back to D2 Jerry! It would also be a shame if Ron Strollo is back next year. And its time for wolford to put up or shut up.

It's clear YSU has accepted losing and a commitment to mediocrity. No wonder why fan support is sooo low for all the sports.

Same ole story. Ysu really needs to make sweeping changes to its athletic department.

every game is a must win! YSU could pull off the upset. You never know what you are going to get with this team sometimes- they are so hit and miss. When you think they'll lose they win, when you think they'll wine they lose.

lets hope they get it done! goooooo guins!

It' s hoops and scoops night with handels ice cream if i am not mistaken. That should draw 500 fans alone. Aa far as how mant fans the team draws....... thats another story.
