Yes it was, but I don't think anyone is going to transfer out until the bans go into effect. It will be interesting to see how long the HC stays there. I told Lucky that I give him until 2015 and he will be out

Post season ban doesn't ban go into effect until 2014, scholarship ban goes into effect in 2013. And the PSU players can always transfer from i to i-aa anytime.

Lecter-Brother is doing great. I saw him a few weeks ago for Rodney's III first b-day party that we had here at my house. I think this year he may be able to make it to a few Guin games.

I thought the teams had a nutritionist. It was(and still could be) one of the professor in our nutrition department. And I agree that educated the athletes on proper nutrition is a must. And if they have any questions all they have to do is ask. We do have a great strength and condition staff, athletic training staff, and a great group of team doctors that can always help the teams.

Pizza-Very funny ;D. Actually I had too much protein in my system because my liver enzymes were elevated. With me they couldn't figure out how it happened. It was just one of those things.

I-AA-Congrats on the new grandchild. Where did u find the Pete the Penguin light? Rodney III has a night light, but Pete the Penguin would be much cooler. Our little one will make his Penguin debut next season, so we will have two new tailgaters(as many of u know before many YSU home games you can find Lucky and I roaming around the tailgate lots)

I like Pace too. He impressed me so much last year. He reminds me of another #25 that played at YSU.

Also if I remember correctly the UNI game is Sept 22. That just happens to be my 5th wedding anniversary. Yes I got married during football season. The best gift would be: a YSU over UNI(they haven't beat UNI since I was a student at YSU)

One can have too much protein in their system. I ended up with that problem towards the end of my pregnancy. With me they delivered baby(5 wks early), and pretty much flushed my system out. I was in ICU for about 3 days. All is well now. Baby just turned a yr old on Feb 21(he will make his YSU debut next season), and I have no after effects.

Wick-I am always optimistic. I think 2012 will be a great for the Penguins in football. All we have to do is play 4 quarters of football. I posted earlier on the board that I was really impressed with coach Boldon from the day they hired him. He just seem to have the IT factor that was lacking for the women. And the men have been a pleasant surprise this year. I hope we can keep the momentum. As for football in the next few years I would love to BabyGuin to TX for a football game

It is 17-6 NDSU with a little over 2:00 left. I actually watched bits and pieces of the game. It is a gorgeous 50 degree day here at Penny's Pad: HubbyGuin is actually outside taking down the lights. You are all aware that the only loss NDSU had was to YSU. I hope we can soon make the trip to TX

I hate the FCS tag. To me it is still 1-AA, and it is still the playoffs. I also don't like the layoff I always loved the season being over b4 Christmas.

I watched the last half of the NDSU game(well I  listened to the 2nd qtr. A certain 9.5mth old decided that he wanted food).  NDSU looked really great. I was really surprised they put that last TD in.

Wick-I was always taught that it is DEFENSE that wins ball games. And that NDSU defense was awesome. One thing I don't understand is: Why is the NC game so late. Could it be the fact that they are so many bowl games.

Pita-Students should attend as many games as they can. They get in FREE. When Lucky and I were at YSU we went to as many basketball games as we could.  Actually we went to alot of non athletic events too.

Oh man let me go down my list: I was at the 94', 97', and 99'(wish we could forget that one) NC game, plus countless playoff games in the 90s, and yes I sat through the bad years too. I do try to go to at least one home game every year. 93' NC game was that the goal line stand
