How much more is that than what coach makes now?  just wondering!  I still think he gets another oppotunity with a major program!

Call me old fashion, I don’t understand this. If he just signed the contract extension till 2028, what was he doing to interview for another mid major program already.

When Tressel signed his contract, he had an escape cause for Big 10 (specifically Ohio State). He incited at the time, if  he didn’t get the OSU job after interviewing, he would stay at YSU.

I agree, guess I am out of touch also. How can you expect the players to be committed when the coach is not.

for years the complaint was that it was not fair to the athletes that they got nothing but free room and board and a degree, while the school would get all the money. To some degree that was a fair statement, but as often happens in this country anymore in our never-ending quest for fairness to all we have screwed it up bigtime. Not sure that they can get the horses back in the barn.

College sports has lost its innocence and a lot of its appeal.

The Horizon gets no respect,  I watched Duquesne win yesterday wonder if that league would be a good fit for an upgrade. If Dayton still in would be a good rival

Does the league deserve more respect? How many signature wins did the league get this year?

First I wish her nothing but the best.

WKBN states that she previously served as head coach at the University of Akron, where she led the Zips to a pair of postseason appearances and the best winning percentage in program history. So why did she leave Akron?

We just do not know enough about what happened. Did what cause Barnes to step down affect the play of the team for a while? I think that we have more talent then the record shows. None of my business what happend but I trust that the folks that do know will make the right call
