The offense needs to clean it up, but lets be happy here. The defense is looking great! And we beat a team that is trending up, that we usually struggle against, by a large margin. Starting conference play 1-0 is nice.

Absolutely! A win is a win. And you have to be happy with the Defense for sure.. Only allowing 3 points, and should have been a goose egg.

If we had an offense this team could be dangerous.  The D is that good.
Good coaching for the D....  Watch out for onside kick...
Are you kidding me

This team is dangerous, and the offense is very dangerous. And news flash, this is the most talented team across the board in the last 5 years...

Nice win for the penguins today! 31-3 is a nice sound win to open up in the MVFC. Got a big one coming up next with Ill State!! Looking forward to it. Let's go guins! And in regards to the ysufan who said that Rivers could be playing on Sundays, I couldn't agree with you anymore. Rivers is put together, athletic, smart, and flat out play.

This is a very nice addition for the Penguins and the University of Youngstown.. Bo is a big name, and I do believe that many thought we wouldn't get a big named guy from 1A to come down. This is good for the program! Looking forward to the future here with the Guins!

Wish for nothing but the best for the MVFC in the playoffs. Proving time is now for all those schools. Hurts so much to know that if we won last week against Indiana State we would have been in.

Great pressure by Williams and rivers on that 4th down. Need to stop kicking ourselves in the dick with turnovers.

Better let it hang out soon, and play balls to the walls soon.

Rough start boys. Rough start. Very vanilla first couple drives.

Let's see what the defense does here. Can someone tell me why in week 12 we still do not throw under neath to Andre Stubbs or Christian Bryan? Christ let Wells throw some quick hits, build a little confidence.

I hope like my brother said in his Press Conference this week, "Were gonna lay it all on the line, and do everything we can". Im looking forward to tomorrow. I believe that the coaches will pull out everything that they have this week, and I know these players will as well and give it everything they have. By no means is this football game unwinnable. Are we playing a good football team? Yes. Are we playing the '85 Bears? No. Best thing we can all do is just watch, and see how it plays out. Wish I could have made the trip out there with my family, they land in Fargo within the hour. Lookin forward to this one. Hoping its not the last Guins game I see this season.

Half of the MVFC would run through the MAC.

Thanks guys. Means alot to hear that people enjoy hearing him speak. Very intelligent. Christian aspires to be a Football Coach, and always has wanted to be a coach. Many people have reached out that coach at the higher levels of football and state he has the keys, knowledge, and personality to be successful at the college level already. Should be interesting to see his career following this season.. I personally would love to see him try and tryout for a team, got nothing to lose (but that's cause im his brother and don't want to see him stop playing the game). Seems like every week you turn on other football games your seeing more and more of these small white wide recievers throughout the league. He has tremendous work ethic, but I also know that he wants more than anything to be a football coach, he has such passion for the game. I think sometimes he is a better PR guy than some of the coaches on the staff, and he is only a 21 year old.

I would really like to see them do away with some of the garbage non-conf games. Would be cool to see them play a CAA team or someone else instead. (Just like to see how we match up with one of those teams).
