Look around you at the games.  Our crowd has a good number of elderly folks. I am knocking on the door of being old but I am not there yet. The older folks are not that vocal and are just happy to find their seats.  They do support the Penguins and have for years so we cannot fault them for that.  I thought the crowd was good and many stayed until the end.  They were pretty vocal at the end with some of those calls.

Marshall and Boise State, even though they moved up, have very good fan bases. Hopefully we can start drawing some people. a win on Saturday should help.

we are having a hard time being FCS.  Nearly half of our wins came against partial scholarship schools.  That does not help the program other than padding your win column. it is sad that so many schools moved up and we still cannot get into the play-offs.  not good

The field condition is awful.  We need to improve our defense and on offense run the ball first then pass.  This is a pretty good game.

I like the tail gating because it is a family affair.  The young kids throwing the football and the girls dressed up in the Penguin Gear become adult fans.  It is a evolution.  I just don't want to become the Akron of the subdivision where no one cares.

Why bash the aging fan base.  Like the younger fan base is not getting older.  What is the point about the fan base.  They do not cause the team to lose.  They are  loyal fans and have been so for years.  They go to the games.  Let's face it, this community will never have fans like Marshall or Boise State.  Their focus is on Mooney, Ursuline, Ohio State, Notre Dame.   YSU is way down the food chain.  Mount Union-John Carroll game drew 8,000 people the day we drew 13,000 for the number 1 team in the country.  Not sure what the solution is but winning and getting to the play-offs might help.  The fact is we are a long way from that.

In the Cleveland area picking up this game.  New Hampshire's facility looks like a high school field.
Our stadium is pretty nice.  We need 20,000 + for next week.
