Title: All charges dropped against Dale Peterman
Post by: ysufan0505 on August 28, 2013, 06:39:47 PM: Joe Scalzo from Vindy tweeted that Dale Peterman was in court today and all the charges against him have been dropped. I guess his brother used his name when he was arrested, and co opted his identity.... Wow. Great news

So yes, I'd say at least one media outlet made as big a deal of the charges being dropped as it did about his arrest.
