Washington gave the game away today as well. Twice they grabbed the rebound off of a 1 and 1, and missed.
I think the Butler foul was called and proper. Put them at the line and make them beat you. No chance for a rebound and no time off the clock. The missed charity toss was called. Heck, the assistant Butler coach almost ran out and whispered it in his ear, before he acknowledged it. I was just praying it went in. We were at Quaker Steak watching it. There was some wrestling tournament somewhere in ytown and the place was packed with wrestlers, all watching the NCAA finals. There was a wrestler from Youngstown that went to Kent in the final. He lost very quickly though. All of the wrestlers were cheering for him.
just read on Yahoo sports there is a presser scheduled tonight to address whether Tress knew about the sale of memorabilia in April.

Saw a lot of the wrong way to lose weight back when I wrestled, but he wasn't trying to cut weight, just found it impossible to take in enough calories to maintain. The coach ran the program more like a college program than a high school one: 1 1/2-2 hr lifting/conditioning in the morning, then classes, and a 3-4 hour evening practice session session, followed by 30-45 minutes of conditioning 5 - 6 days per week. Even on days when they had meets they would go in early to do an hour or so of "light conditioning". There weren't too many kids that needed to worry about cutting weight after that.
I think Boldon has the wom. on the right track. They should only improve next year with most everyone back. Nice job Boldon! Maybe he can coach the mens team as well.Who, besides you, would welcome everyone back from a 6-24 team? There will be several roster changes--hopefully for the better. T. Jones (1-16 last night) couldn't beat Lecter in a game of H-O-R-S-E!!
