If East can keep the parochials from raiding all the talent in Youngstown City ...they could have some great teams!!!

Yep, state caliber teams.

Look for Fitch to get stronger and stronger in all sports.  Kids will be forming a line for the open enrollment option there.

The insinuation that players are fat and out of shape is a pipe dream.

I believe off season conditioning is 0600 every day.

Bear May:::: can you confirm that for us?

I trust Wolf and the staff to not let anybody loaf.

Like Hathorn's ideas.

Wonder how Jimmy Vivo is reacting to this?

Come to Boardman Jim!

Why even respond to the OP?

It is his opinion only.

You're opening a big can of worms Cat, you have something to back up your post?

Are you Patrick's brother-in-law?

I sent you a PM Lecter

The transfer to Pitt is what I knew for sure.  The reason is all hearsay and rumors right now.  You know how this town and how Mooney fans are, can't believe anything.

According to Mooney Nation, every kid that starts for them should be getting a ride, etc. etc. etc.

I have a few comments, none of which I will post here, but look me up at the spring practices and I will talk your ear off.

Washington gave the game away today as well. Twice they grabbed the rebound off of a 1 and 1, and missed.

I think the Butler foul was called and proper. Put them at the line and make them beat you. No chance for a rebound and no time off the clock. The missed charity toss was called. Heck, the assistant Butler coach almost ran out and whispered it in his ear, before he acknowledged it. I was just praying it went in. We were at Quaker Steak watching it. There was some wrestling tournament somewhere in ytown and the place was packed with wrestlers, all watching the NCAA finals. There was a wrestler from Youngstown that went to Kent in the final. He lost very quickly though. All of the wrestlers were cheering for him.

Basketball players play with balls.

Wrestlers have them.

Anyway we can get you to change your user name?  I get thoughts of the anti-christ everytime I see it.

Anybody seen Ursuline play this year?

We have anything going on with any of their kids?

How about Williams from Howland?

just read on Yahoo sports there is a presser scheduled tonight to address whether Tress knew about the sale of memorabilia in April.

In the comments section some posters said Urban Meyer is on the way

Thanks, he's looking forward to mixing it up a little this spring.

Saw a lot of the wrong way to lose weight back when I wrestled, but he wasn't trying to cut weight, just found it impossible to take in enough calories to maintain.  The coach ran the program more like a college program than a high school one: 1 1/2-2 hr lifting/conditioning in the morning, then classes, and a 3-4 hour evening practice session session, followed by 30-45 minutes of conditioning 5 - 6 days per week.  Even on days when they had meets they would go in early to do an hour or so of "light conditioning".  There weren't too many kids that needed to worry about cutting weight after that.

Wow.  Guess not!

I think Boldon has the wom. on the right track.  They should only improve next year with most everyone back.  Nice job Boldon!  Maybe he can coach the mens team as well.
Who, besides you, would welcome everyone back from a 6-24 team? There will be several roster changes--hopefully for the better. T. Jones (1-16 last night) couldn't beat Lecter in a game of H-O-R-S-E!!

LOL   ,   I actually played Miss Jones at the Y once.  Not horse just 1 on 1.  I dunked on her enroute to an 11-4 finish.
