Why don't we focus on coaches that can win and are not tied to the university like we always do. Shane and Carl would not be good decisions we will be mediocre at best as we are now. Glad Pelini is gone don't let the door hit you in the butt. LSU will have a terrible defense now . they apparently didn't look at his defense during his tenure here. Let's get a good coach with winning experience. I would go after the North Dakota State or South Dakota State assistants they know how to win. Enough with dwelling on Shane and Carl. Makes me want to puke

Free throws lost the game.  Milwaukee got a gift. Now we are in a must win scenario.    Looking bleak.  Same old same old.

It's like a Time Warp when you enter beeghly Center. The actual basketball court looks great in modern but the surroundings as we all know our bit outdated. What's funny is the lobby has been remodeled and looks great. Why wouldn't they do inside the arena before the lobby? Hopefully something is done with beeghly Center in next few years. An updated or newer Arena would go a long way with recruiting.

The next two home games are must wins. Lose one or both then it changes the Outlook of how we finish in the conference upper echelon. Yesterday seemed like we couldn't play any defense and we got outrebounded and out of hustled

Under Slocum we lost some of these games. Shooting is killing us this year. in years past we were always a decent shooting 3-point team we've always been bad at free throws but the three pointers are concerning. The Horizon League stinks so we have a shot at finishing in the top four or five. Unfortunately our recruiting is not being helped by the piss poor conference we are in. Horizon League went from a mid-major to a low major in last couple of years. I believe we only have five or six wins against the MAC Conference and almost 20 losses against the Mac. Losing Butler Valparaiso and Loyola big time. We replace them with piss-poor teams.

If you look at the stats we are virtually even in all categories except for shooting in the 1st half.  The worst shooting YSU team I have possibly witnessed.  Talent I believe is better than Slocum and u like Calhoun so I am puzzled.  Geez and seems like womens team will struggle.   Ysu sports disappointed  this year.

Over the years we've always been pretty decent at three-point shooting. I cannot believe the same good shooters from last year cannot even hit the side of a barn this year. At least tonight we improved our free throw shooting immensely. Schedule gets tougher. If we can hit threes or doomed the rest of the year it will be hard to stay out of the basement again

We cannot take NC Central lightly. They gave Akron a game at Akron. I believe this is kind of a must-win for us. Hopefully we have been working on shooting and free throws.

Going to hurt us if we cannot make free throws or hit a 3. Right now we cannot.  Unless we break out of a slump in both categories going to be a 500 team at best

This is bad real bad. How does a team start off winning their first four games and then go backwards and get worse as the year goes on. No team does that unless they have a slew of injuries. I'm at a loss for words. I have no faith in the administration and this coaching staff. YSU needs to do what it takes to move in a different direction as soon as the last game is played. We are a bottom feeder in our conference. Seems like the team has quit on the coaching staff and Leadership.
