Offering a player that late is insulting especially if the recruiting process was started a year ago. It's like saying we could be screwed at the quarterback position and you are the last resort. I'm sure Mark is a fine player did he have any other offers beside Fordham, Cornell, Dartmouth or Robert Morris?

We are talking recruiting of a specific player here. and how the coaches would like to have him. At this point, we don't even know who will be the HC and his staff for next year. If the current staff leaves, some (if not most) of the verbal recruits could de-commit any way.
So, first thing first, what is the latest news on HC for next year? It is hard to believe that we are going out to do effectively recruiting without being able to tell the prospective recruits if the HC/staff will even be back next year.
This is a very valid point!! I think Bo or the university needs to come forth and make some kind of statement concerning the direction of HC and staff. Something to keep a eye on JMU head coach could be taking over at Charlotte the same place were Shane Montgomery is. We have been targeting some of JMU recruits will they flip if Houston leaves? We did offer several players from the Maryland area and I believe one has committed to YSU. We continue to extend offers to 2 star athletes that have committed to other programs in hope that they will flip, but it's a hard sell in my opinion. We are also offering lots of Juco players, but know QBs as far as I can tell

Duquesne defeats #16 Towson 31-10 in the opening round of the playoffs. The Northeast conference continues to recruit and steal players from YSU on a yearly basis

Bottom line is the program has regressed the last two seasons under the direction of Bo Pelini. The lack of discipline and decline in culture is evident. There is know consistency with what the players and coaches do on a weekly basis. We have a nice win against a playoff team in U.N.I..play pretty much even with the top two teams in our conference only to finish 4-7..Just blows my mind. Hell the WKBN announcers have a better idea what's going on then the coaches do half the time, yet some people think Bo is the one and only option for YSU . Only game I went to this year was Butler and haven't been back since and don't plan on going again unless significant changes are made

Craycraft should have been worked into some games this year especially when the season was lost

Is this Bo's last game at YSU ?
If I were a betting man I would have to say yes. Bo's payments from Nebraska run through February.  He must notify Nebraska 30 days prior to a pending move and monthly payments would be adjusted accordingly. In all fairness to the University,  current players and potential recruits if he does leave I hope he does it at seasons end and not at the beginning of the year

South Dakota over Western..Now we have several valley teams sitting at 5-5..If we could have beat Butler and picked up another win in conference play we would be sitting really nice for playoffs with a win over Illinois St. next week!! More incentive to start the year stronger next year

Rivers has not been placed on the injured reserve all season. Some games he is listed as active, other games he is not. When he is active he only plays a couple of snaps defensively. One game he had a considerable amount with 15 plays. Some people think that his knee might not be fully recovered..Belichick as we all know works in mysterious ways so it's really hard to say if he's holding Rivers back for one reason or another, maybe he is not the same player prior to the injury

Well I thought the Indiana St. crowd was very small. With it being senior day maybe more friends and family members will go. The wind might gust up to 35 m.p.h. so that could affect the UNI passing and kicking game, could be in our favor. Happy for Damoun and I think this could be more then just a practice squad body. Even with the addition of Gordon the Patriots still lack that big play threat for Brady that can get downfield and behind defenders on the deep ball..Patterson could be that guy!!
