As long as a coach is named soon and wins games with the talent we have returning, it should not be a problem who the coach is.
With that being said, whoever the coach is he had better make sure not to do what Wolf did and get rid of 80% of the former regime's players. That would be a bad look for that coach IMHO.

I don't think students attend a YSU football game to get drunk. The students go for the fun. Alcohol is not allowed in the stadium. I think alcohol is  only allowed in the private suites. Maybe those fans get drunk. But students would be asked to leave, if they are drinking in the stadium. There must be other reasons why the fans quit attending football games, especially after the September games. Maybe, the sports dept should do a survey to find out why students do not come. A survey can also be sent to players from the past years and  other alumni.

You must be blind if you think that students do not drink before the game and get plastered before the 50 of them fill the worst student section in the conference.
The student section was only good for one game this year and that was the Southern Illinois game when the student section was going hard for their typical first half of football with their 'penguin calls'.
Another reason nobody comes to games after September is because YSU has so many "fair weather" fans that once YSU loses one game people become less interested in YSU and more interested in Ohio State and High School Football.

Bobby Hain must have been reading my posts about him being soft, because today he proved me wrong...
Lets see if he can do this on a consistent basis.
I love being proved wrong because it does not happen often!!!!

The problem with our students is that they are TOO drunk to make it through an entire game.
Well that and the fact that our marketing department is TERRIBLE!!!!

Was it someone who was kicked out of an FBS school and was just alot better than what we had? Just curious. I guess i could see that scenario with a D lineman or maybe a D-back but not a running back, quarterback, or wide receiver. Maybe I'm wrong.

2011 season:
Travis Williams, deionte Davis, to name a few

2012 season:
Kyle Bryant

2013 season:
Devon mckoy, tre Moore

2014 season:
Nate dortch, jimmy kitchen

Those are FBS bounce backs to play a significant role in their first season at YSU

I hope the guys that are considering transferring at least wait until the new staff is in place, and they go through spring ball.

It doesn't work that way. If you are going to transfer and have any hopes of starting somewhere in the Fall, you would transfer during Christmas break and do Spring ball with your new team. If not you would be going into Fall camp as an unknown and try to learn a new offense in 2-3 weeks. I've never heard of that happening.

It definitely has happened here in the past couple years to be exact...

I thought this was a thread about how players got snubbed from all-conference votes not about how we get snubbed from the playoffs.

ysufan0505: Andrew Williams is the second best receiver in the league (only behind Jake Wieneke of South Dakota State, who led the country in receiving.)

How does WR Andrew Williams only get an honorable mention when he was third in conference in Receiving Yards?
How does S Tre Moore not get anything when he was tied for the league lead in interceptions?
How does not 1 of our O-Line get nominated when they were tied with NDSU for least amount of sacks given up in conference?
How does RB Jody Webb not get an honorable mention nod when he was top 5 in the conference for TDs?

Once again YSU getting snubbed... But as Wolf said all year "this is a no-name team"
The rest of the conference thought the same thing.

He needs to work on his post game. Cant be a 7 footer and not be able to dunk when needed.

MVFC has only one FCS out of conference loss on the entire year and it was the conferences worst team (South Dakota) to perennial playoff contenders out of the Big Sky (Montana) and even that game South Dakota should have won.
But 1 OOC FCS loss on the entire year? If that doesn't show dominance then I don't know what does!!!!
