@PeterThamel: Sources: Utah State is finalizing a deal to hire Jerrod Calhoun as the school’s next head coach. He’s the head coach at Youngstown State, which he’s led to back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in school history.

YSU Penguin Athletics / YSU Hosts #1 South Dakota State

The #1 Jackrabbits come to town next Saturday for a noon kickoff. They are incredibly talented, have 5 ranked wins, and look heavily favored to defend their FCS Title in Frisco again this January.

I would encourage everyone on this board to spread the word and encourage as many YSU fans to come out and be loud and into the game as possible. We aren't competing against the Buckeyes who play in primetime, so I am hopeful we can get a decent turnout.

We need a lot of things to go our way, but that is why they play the games. Our last win over a #1 team was back in 2011 at North Dakota State.
