Give the kid a second chance, if it works out, it benefits the young man going forward and secondly the YSU football program.

Vindicator had an article/interview with the newly signed QB, Trent Hosick. See links below:

Not to much to report on the recruiting front. Quarterback Trent Hosick did pick up his second offer from Charleston Southern. CSU enjoyed their best season ever and lost in the quarterfinals to Jacksonville St.
All I need to see is at 2:07 in this video. We have him this past year we beat Ill. State and NDSU. Tough and can take a hit and sold out for that score!! Unlike our current QB who fell in front of the goal line agains Ill. State and is a 0 threat to run the ball. We need to land this kid...

The list of inept Athletic Department staff deserving of employment termination seems to be growing due to a lack of accountability. In order to organize a running list, I will begin with my suggestions. Please feel free to offer your suggestions.
1) Ron Strollo
2) Jerry Slocum
3) Monty
4) Whomever heads the marketing department.
BTW, Wolf never had a recruiting visit as large as I saw Saturday & the letter-man's jackets were from good programs ...especially PA. That was the largest since early 2000's, when we were living off of being the former home of Jim Tressel. This is clearly because of Bo Pelini & you are fooling yourself to think it is anything else. Although I am sure that having JT as a new president does not go unnoticed by these kids and their parents.
I like the idea because it looks like a D6 little dinky press box over there right now but I would first like them to add more seating on that side. I understand, with our low attendance that has to improve but it just looks so mismatched with the west side seating so many.
Hype vid. Enjoy.

The University of Akron just announced as part of major budget cuts, they are cutting their baseball program.
Not sure how ticket sales are going, but they are a month ahead of schedule ..as compared to previous seasons; so I expect Bo has really drawn interest. There will be a new person in-charge of tickets this year ...Eric McLellan is replacing Ashley Booth ...who is moving on. Maybe I will send Eric and email.
Nice article by Scalzo. Now they need the east side press box upgraded.
