Watch that play in slow motion, it was interference. Ball came in just after the defender and the defender never turned around.

Can't blame the NCAA if you didn't reach out to your boosters and alumni well in advance and take presales and/or reservations for tickets.  That happens at the college level all the time.  If they had done that, they would have had a good idea of how many tickets were needed by Sunday morning.

I would agree.  There was no planning ahead for this and the fans will literally pay the price, and the players may not have the support they deserve.  In the end, the office probably knew (or should have known) the required policy for the title game of committing to purchase a set number of tickets, and they should have requested ticket reservations from fans long in advance.

Not sure if this was addressed already, but I am wondering why the one second did not run off during the extra point attempt?

I watched the end on ESPN3, and from my perspective I thought for sure that his knee was down before the ball reached the goal line, and was surprised that wasn't the call.  I was really surprised they indicated the ball didn't reach the goal line.  I didn't think they could ever reverse it that way.

I wonder if this comes with an understanding that they would try to move the program to DI eventually.  Not saying I would be for that, but it is just so unusual, looking for the growth potential that might have enticed him.  I could see Tressel and Pelini thinking that way.  Anyway, it's great for YTown.

FAU is reporting that Brian Wright has withdrawn his name from consideration for the YSU job.

Pelini brought them in.  President is from Cleveland State and AD is from OSU.  As a grad of both schools, I'd love to see YSU down here.  YSU would probably beat FAU this year, but Pelini has them on track to improve.  Haven't heard anything about the scheduling, but they did bring in an FCS school for the first game this year.  Money would be a problem.  FAU's program is financially strapped after building their new stadium and not having a good team.  Kind of like Akron.

Couldn't tell about the interference call on the last play, but there was clearly 1 second left when the ball hit the ground.

I watch from afar, having moved out of state several years ago.  IMHO, this guy's doing a great job.  The university hung on to the last coach way too long.  He was handed the best I-AA program in the country on a silver platter and did nothing with it.  So as far as I'm concerned, this coach can say and do what he wants.
