--Thanks Sean.  I like the way you think.  All too often come season end...the fans in the stands have been more worried about the other games in the MVFC than our own.  It does not matter what the other teams do...what matters is what the Guinz do.

No need to worry this weekend, because our boys will get things done and Northern Iowa WILL lose at Southern Ill!

I am not that confident. History is on our side. An SIU would put a huge dagger in UNI's playoff hopes, while bolstering YSU's resume as SIU would re-enter the top 25 and be one win away from a potential playoff birth as well.

Bottom line, I will be 100% focused on YSU until 5:30pm. We can only worry about ourselves. Anything else is icing on the cake.

Sounds like a plan!

Two interesting links.

ILSU bidding for homes games and how it could change the start time of our basketball game against them. It also mentions the bids are due November 17th and how YSU is also competing for a playoff spot.

Extremely interesting interview with the UNI AD regarding the playoff selection process. I find it interesting that they do go about watching a lot of game film on each team, they look for teams moving up, not down (like us last year) at the end of the season, and how they pretty much have a bracket in mind each week.
