Illinois is that bad.  But you cant say YSU isnt playing hard.  although i see that both coaches had no intention of adjusting at halftime.
wolf is playing not to lose.

Wheels are starting to come off. Two special team miscues cost us two TD's.

short swing passes and screen passes did well for us so far. Noes, it is up to the D.

some things will never change ...3rd and a million ...first-down opposition! Throwing into double coverage yet.

Some things never change.... Choking as always. Butt punt from Cejudo, Strip sack but don't recover, and 2 long 3rd downs and they convert on both.... Ballgame. Blew this game.

the secondary did not play well. The free safety was out of position most of the game, just like last couple of years.

My recap of the game:

1. Defense looked pretty solid in the 1st half, especially getting off the field on 3rd down.
2. Defense fell apart in the 2nd half, especially the secondary. Too many busted plays.
3. The D-Line looks very improved. Got some good pressure against a veteran Illini O-Line
4. Nania looked like a deer in headlights
5. Coaching staff did him no favors by not even trying to complete some short passes
6. Ruiz and O-Line looked solid. Will only continue to improve
7. WR's were ok, too many dropped passes.

Overall, We blew this game. Illinois stinks and if we get a couple of breaks we win. Something to build on I suppose. Time to come home and take care of business.
