They may play on Saturday--but highly unlikely it will be football. ;)

They won't play.  Why hurt them worse for future or next year

YSU needs to remain focused. This week comes down to coaching. Everyone in town knows a win Saturday sets up what will be one of the biggest games to ever be played at YSU. With Kollmorgen and Johnson most likely out, our defense needs to put pressure on their backups all night.

Kollmorgen and Johnson would be on every list of top 10 MVFC offensive weapons going into this season.  UNI almost beat us yet again last year due entirely to individual stellar play from those two.  Have a hard time believing that UNI has replacements that are anywhere near their talent level.  Yes, I know their new qb is a transfer from Nebraska.

Here is the question that I have been pondering for the last four days.  Is the South Dakota defense really that bad?  Or did our offense manhandle a good defense?  If we knew the answer to that question, we would have a pretty good idea of what will transpire in Iowa on Saturday.

USD coach stated that he hasn't seen an offense like our all year.  He said we have the best they have played this year.  He even went on about it in the weekly mvfc call.

Their offense is going to struggle without Kollmorgen and Johnson, and we won't turn the ball over three times again this week.

YSU's defense couldn't hold Ursuline to 10 points. The defense is going to have to make some plays and create a turnover or two. If they play like they did against South Dakota were in trouble

UNI is still a good and dangerous team, especially in their dome! The game should be a real nail biter, if Kollmorgen plays it will be very tough to win there. If, Kollmorgen doesn't play; that will cut some slack for our defense.

If we don't take care of the ball and have 3 fumbles like last week, "it will be kiss it goodbye". I'm hoping we don't make those crazy mistakes; but the game will be very physical. Look for YSU to eek out another win.

YSU 31  UNI 27
