Youngstown State junior third baseman Drew Dosch has been named the Horizon League Baseball Player of the Week for his performance in four games at Charlotte last week, the conference announced on Monday.
Dosch batted .357 with two doubles in a home run last week for the Penguins. He registered a .714 slugging percentage and a .471 on-base percentage in reaching base in all four games against the 49ers. Dosch scored four times and drove in four runs while also going 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts.
Dosch, the preseason Horizon League Player of the Year, is batting .405 with two home runs and seven RBIs this season.
