Indianapolis, Ind. - Youngstown State jumper Dorian Davis (Trotwood, Ohio) was named the Horizon League's Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at last Friday's YSU Invitational.
Davis took first place in the triple jump, posting a distance of 14.40m at the YSU Invitational. The mark was a personal best for Davis, outdistancing his previous career-high by .36m and beating out a field of nine competitors.
The Penguins are back in action on Friday-Saturday when they play host to the YSU National Invitational at the WATTS.
