Will Shaw to Play in Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game

Tucson, Ariz. - Former Youngstown State tight end Will Shaw has been selected to play in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game, which is begin played on Friday night at Kino Stadium, home of the Triple-A Tucson Padres.

The contest, which kicks off at 7 p.m. Mountain time, will be carried on ESPN3.com and is available on the WATCH ESPN App.

Shaw, a second-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection, will play for the East squad.

In 2012, he led the team with 35 receptions for 429 yards and five touchdowns while averaging 12.3 yards per catch. He had a career-high 10 catches for 120 yards and a touchdown at South Dakota State and caught five passes for 95 yards and a touchdown in win over UNI. In the season-opening win at Pittsburgh, he had two touchdown grabs.

Last year's roster produced six NFL draft picks including the 98th overall pick, Gino Gradkowski, who went to the Baltimore Ravens. An additional 61 players off of the 2012 roster entered NFL training camp in July.

This is the second year for the All-Star Game which features players from 25 BCS schools. FCS programs represented are YSU, Southeastern Louisiana, Eastern Washington, Murray State, Fordham, Jackson State, Eastern Kentucky, Cal Poly, Montana State, Northern Arizona and Portland State.
