Youngstown connections at FAU

Someone told me that YSU was trying to schedule FAU in 2013 or 2014, so I was checking out their web site.  I did not find anything to confirm this, but I was surprised at how many Youngstown, YSU, or MVFC connections their coaching stafff has.  I knew local guy Carl Pelini had been hired as their head coach, but thought it sort of odd that so many of these guys have connections to Youngstown.

Pelini brought them in.  President is from Cleveland State and AD is from OSU.  As a grad of both schools, I'd love to see YSU down here.  YSU would probably beat FAU this year, but Pelini has them on track to improve.  Haven't heard anything about the scheduling, but they did bring in an FCS school for the first game this year.  Money would be a problem.  FAU's program is financially strapped after building their new stadium and not having a good team.  Kind of like Akron.
