1AA will allow 12 games in 2014. In essense, they are allowing for the money game(s) and still finding a way to let those teams get to 7 D1 wins.

If I recall correctly (and it may have been changed), FCS teams can play 14 games in ceratin years based on the calendar. I recall it deals with the number of weeks beween Labor Day and Thanksgving. In 2014 Labor Day is as early as it can be (September 1) and Thanksgiving is as late as it can be (November 28). If my recollection is correct and still applicable, 2014 has to be a year where FCS teams can play 12 games. I believe YSU passed on the opportunity to play 12 the last time it was available? the $ are just too much to pass up now.
