Wolf has this program "humming"...it's exciting to be a football player at YSU right now. (6am workouts in the snow.....excluded..!!)

We could see him in the return game...needs to put on some muscle...the kid is long...covers some ground...good football instincts...and can lay the wood..!!...

Wolf can recruit!!! He needs another year or two... he can recruit. And that's what he was brought in here to do.

And he is doing it well. And we need to give him his time. If he continues this....good things will be happening at YSU football.

Gotta win. And win BIG.....NOW!!!

And that's probably a good thing for everyone involved.

Coaching grades after two years:

1. Recruiting - B+

2. Preparation - D+

3. Game management - D

4. Adjustments- D-

5. Discipline/classroom A-

Wolf deserves more time.  1 to 2 more years.  He's a young coach and will improve on the low grades I gave him with experience.  He's already mastered the hard part.. RECRUITING. plus this don't hurt in helping Wolf recruit.

Train:
the low grades you are passing out above go hand in hand with talent level....you can not win...and often look bad
without the horses....you think it is a coincidence that the sabans and the carrols of recent years are winning championships..
they have the best players in the country...!!....

i still think that injuries last year really hurt ysu..they just did not have the depth...especially on defense where they were
hit hardest...

HLecter:
No, the low grades DO NOT go hand in hand with talent level.

This team was NOT ready to play vs Indiana State

This team lost to a 1-9 team at home, on senior day with possible playoffs on the line.

That is coaching.  Whether it be Wolford or his Assts.
