NDSU...CONGRATULATIONS

The late nc game is the new format that began last year. It is intended to get more TV viewers, but the logic is pretty suspect. It's just as dumb as the FCS moniker, and I hate the layoff.

I hate the FCS tag. To me it is still 1-AA, and it is still the playoffs. I also don't like the layoff I always loved the season being over b4 Christmas.

to beat YSU.  WE apparently taught them how to play.  What's
wrong with this picture....we beat them...they are in the semi's
we are at home.  JUST WAIT 2012 is right around the corner.

To our friends at Georgia Southern....hate to say it, but I tried to
tell you way back when at Chatty.....you gotta learn to play with
the BIG guys.  You doubted me cause you got lucky (one time).
Sorry for your loss today but you shoulda known, if YSU beat this
team, we (MEANING GSU) still will have our hands full.  Cause
YSU is made of sterner stuff.

Just had to rub it in......The Eagle has landed.......HOORAY

Wow....we beat the Semi-finalist.  GO "NDSU"

GO PENGUINS

Wow!! I didn't realize that NDSU had such a dry spell!?  ???

There hasn’t been this
much excitement for
North Dakota State
football since Walmart opened
its doors on Fargo’s 13th
Avenue.
That was 21 years ago – one
day after the NDSU football team
won a home game to advance to
a national championship game it
later won. Since then, another
Walmart store has been added
but not another national
championship game appearance.
That was until Saturday, when
18,108 ear-splitting Fargodome fans cheered on
their Bison to their first national championship  fb

That was a fun game to watch. NDSU beat up the offense of GSU...their backs and QB were taking shots and were slowly getting back up. Reminded me of old YSU 90's defense.

Their O-line was dominant as well. ESPN talked up the NT from GSU, #66 and So-Con player of the year I believe. But after the first drive he was invisible, often driven down the field and out of the picture. Loved it.
