Basketball Visits Saint Francis (Pa.) This Afternoon

<< < (2/2)

IAA Fan:
I highlighted a couple of things that concerned me. No assists, points in the paint, and I really thought our defense could keep them well under 50%. However ...that being said ...4-1   8)

Missed the game to watch the buckeyes. Yeah, I don't care how it happens two wins on the road is great.  We really need to get some bigs to get points in the paint.  Not sure how they winning, but I hope this recent success continues!

Pita:
A win is a win.  Once the "W" is there, that's all that matters.
I for one, hope that we can continue to add wins; tho I am
doubtful when we get into facing  the Horizon League teams.  I do
feel confident that Coach Slocum is very capable of winning
games.  Our team MUST be capable of shooting file shots and
layups.  Can't just rely on the 3's, cause when we get with
tough competitors that advantage will be taken away.

I do think it will be an interesting year.  Coach deserves wins,
in my opinion; hopefully the team is in agreement with me.

GO PENGUINS

ysuindy:
Listened to the game while raking leaves in my mom's yard Saturday afternoon.  Man it was ugly, but it is a W.

A loss would have been really bad - Coach seemed as unimpressed with the effort for most of the game as we were - but was complimentary of playing down the stretch.

Lets face it, every road game is going to be a struggle for this team.  To be 2-1 on the road at this time is good.  Most years Saturday would have been a L.

Going to need to play better this week.
