Soccer and Volleyball

I think both of these clubs will be much improved this season (especially soccer). Lady Pens Soccer won last night over VMI; while the VB lost to Sienna ...playing Syracuse today. They looked like they were going to "smoke" Sienna, won first game easily, second one not quite as easily ...then lost the next 3, along with the match.

I attended the soccer team's overtime win over Robert Morris this afternoon.  Don't know much about that game but it seemed that our skill level has improved with this coach.  We certainly dominated play against a team that had "owned" us in the past.  Multiple chances and 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.  But this team just cannot escape that horrible misfortune that seems to surround it.  Just when we get two dangerous attackers in the lineup at the same time, one of them goes down today with a seemingly serious leg or ankle injury.  Figures.
