I will be pleased if we only lose by 15 to Dayton at their place. Let’s don’t forget that our best player last year  couldn’t cut it in Dayton.

Tough ending to the first half seeing Dayton go on a 9-0 run as YSU's 7 point lead went to a 2 point deficit

No moral victories but the guys fought and hung in there.  Can't complain and hats off to the flyers who had the size.   Nice to see Ziggy play well.

No moral victory but solid showing probably our best of the season AT Dayton.  If we play like this each and every game for sure a top half of the Horizon League for sure.  Why didn't bates play??

Really good effort. YSU played well enough to give themselves a chance to win. Those last few mins of the first half was really the difference going from up 7 to down to 2 at halftime.

Had some opportunities late in the game down 3-5 points but missed some good looks from 3 & short range. Thought they had a steal down 3 but it ended up being a layup for Dayton & that was a close as they'd get.

Tough game for Burns with no points, only 5 rebounds & fouled out. Balance scoring from the rest of the starters but only 6 bench points

I agree. They need to bring that intensity and level of play in Horizon League play.

Much better effort last night. The guys were just not consistent enough yet. They need to play with intensity for the entire game. It didn’t help when Burns could not score any points. It seems like for every game, someone would fade away and someone would step up. We need everyone to play with consistency for every game.

Making lots of 3 point shots in the first part of the 1st half until the statistic of averages finally kick in.

I just don’t know if they could make enough improvements next couple of months to make a run for the league championship like last year.

Wednesday night 1st conference game with a rival from Cleveland state.. they are as good as any team in the league...we better come out with more than what we have shown before the Dayton game.
