Men's 22-23 basketball schedule
« on: September 14, 2022, 08:15:55 AM »
Looks like we play 15 home games highlighted by non conference games with Ohio University and Tennessee martin.  Plus Southern.   We also play Westminster and Grace.    Notre Dame on the road along with Central Michigan.   plus the Horizon league.   Not bad schedule.   Thoughts anyone?

Same here. Last time in the 70’s, I watched D1 Ohio University open at new Beeghly Center court when we were still D2 under Dom Rosselli.

Guys, this is not baseball where you can somewhat automatically end up with a good team if individuals do their jobs.  To state the obvious, team chemistry is vital in basketball.  We have no idea if the newcomers and the returners can mesh together into a cohesive unit. It will be great if we finally have a very good men's team. But I would caution you to temper your enthusiasm until we see the product on the court.

On paper it looks promising but like wick said chemistry is key.   Got to check egos and share the ball.
