Youngstown State senior tailback Jaleel McLaughlin has been named a preseason first-team All-American by Phil Steele, the organization announced this week. A group of 10 Penguins earned preseason All-MVFC honors by the outlet.
McLaughlin has been receiving numerous preseason accolades which includes being named to the Walter Payton Award Watch List, as well as being a preseason second-team All-American by Stats Perform. He was recognized as a preseason first-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection.
