Today would have been Opening Day
« on: September 05, 2020, 12:58:25 PM »
Just in case you need to feel even more depressed, you get to celebrate the non-start of the season today. At least we know that sooner or later, football will return.  How would you like to be affiliated with one of the Horizon League schools that refuses to play football?  You would suffer this terrible, empty feeling every September.

What is crazy is, plenty of schools have been playing football starting last week. More games this week, and even more to start next week!

This whole thing is a f'ing joke.  HS football is being played. My daughter is in school every day in a state that is supposedly a hot spot playing varsity sports against teams from all over the State they are 7A (the largest of schools). And nothing. The CDC says that 94% of the deaths reported are not directly related to Covid. Apparently, they never backed out the baseline  mortality rate of the population. Meanwhile, college sports are not permitted by many schools.

This is what happens when you allow the leftist elite to control the population. By the way 11W reporting that the myocardio concerns are no longer valid.
