Thanks chief for the update.  Needed some good news.   Couldn't find much video but read he was 1st team all state and averaged 30 pts a game.

     A couple of thoughts on Alex VARGO. 

     VARGO was an all state player in WV for all three of his varsity seasons.  Why is he available at this late date?  Is he a step slow?  Can he jump?  Does he possess quickness?  Can he play defense?  Does he have a high basketball IQ?  There is a reason somewhere in his game.  If he was merely a late bloomer it seems other schools other than YSU and Oakland would have noticed. 

     Whatever VARGO's shortcoming is, Coach CALHOUN did not see it as a major impediment to success at YSU.  Coach was quick to react once it became clear SIMMONS was not returning.  This is the kid he wanted to the exclusion of others in the transfer portal.
